Terms of Service

Plain-language summary first, full terms below. Last updated 2026-07-06.

In short: AI NetShell is proprietary software licensed to you, not sold outright. It's provided as-is, with no warranty. Don't use it to attack networks you don't have permission to touch. Packet 365 LLC operates the product; Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record for any purchase and handles payment, tax, and refund processing.

1. The parties

These terms are between you and PACKET 365 LLC ("we," "us," "the operator"), the company that builds and operates AI NetShell. If you purchase a paid plan, the transaction is processed by Lemon Squeezy, acting as merchant of record — they are the seller for payment, tax, and refund purposes, per the Lemon Squeezy terms you accept at checkout.

2. License

AI NetShell is licensed, not sold. Subject to these terms and payment of any applicable fees, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the application for your own network administration and support work. You may not redistribute, resell, reverse engineer beyond what applicable law permits, or use the software to build a competing product.

3. Free, Pro, and Team tiers

Feature entitlements are described on the Pricing page and are subject to change with notice before your next renewal. Safety behavior — the two approval gates, the dangerous-verb floor, redaction, and the audit log — is never a paid feature and is never removed or weakened by a lapsed subscription; a lapsed license only reduces AI capability, never safety.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use AI NetShell only against network devices and infrastructure you own or are authorized to access. You will not use it to:

  • Access, test, or attempt to modify systems without authorization from their owner;
  • Attempt to bypass, disable, or circumvent the write-policy gates, the dangerous-verb floor, or license enforcement;
  • Redistribute license keys, or share a single license beyond its permitted activation/seat count;
  • Use the software in violation of applicable export-control or other law.

5. Your data

See Privacy for the full description of what stays local and what's sent where. In short: no telemetry by default, device credentials never leave your OS credential store, and the AI only ever sees redacted output when you choose to use it.

6. No warranty

AI NetShell is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. You are responsible for reviewing every proposed change before approving it — the human-approval gate exists precisely because no software should be trusted blindly on production infrastructure, including this one.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PACKET 365 LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or business arising from your use of the software, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Payments, purchases, and merchant of record

Paid plans are sold through Lemon Squeezy, who acts as merchant of record: they process your payment, collect and remit applicable sales tax/VAT, issue receipts, and handle chargebacks and refunds under the policy on the Refunds page. Your relationship for the purchase transaction itself is governed by Lemon Squeezy's own terms in addition to these.

9. Termination

You may stop using the software and cancel any subscription at any time via the Lemon Squeezy customer portal. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, including violations of the acceptable-use section above.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
